De La Salle’s laughing all the way to the bank with the tremendous total raised for this year’s Red Nose Day for Comic Relief. The generosity of parents, students and staff meant that we raised over £1,200. This was achieved by selling nearly 1000 red noses and numerous cake sales, movie screenings and tuck shops. Special mention must go to form group 7B pictured below. Their form teacher, Mrs Thompson, explained how one young man bought 16 red noses as he didn’t want any of his friends to be without one. Many bought multiple noses to try and complete the set. There was even a rumour that the mysterious and rare froggy nose has been seen! Many thanks to all of our supporters who, since 2000, helped us to donate the staggering sum of almost £15,000 to this worthwhile charity.
