Year 10 have been pushing themselves to the limit during their Duke of Edinburgh challenge. From setting up their own tents, cooking their own food and trekking more than fifteen miles over the weekend they proved that they are real stars. They braved the scorching sun, blisters and exhaustion to meet the challenge of their first campout. The Award scheme is set up to challenge and develop young people, in order to really benefit from skills that they can use for life. As there are so many pupils signed up to the Award, we have 3 separate expeditions going out across this month and next. Our pupils this weekend really set the standards high for our other groups to follow. Well done year 10, you represented the school really well and we are all really proud of you.
