January 8

Assessment weeks for year 7 and year 9 students, running from Monday 8th January to Friday 19th January.
January 17

Location: De La Salle School

Year 8 parents' evening will take place on Wednesday 17th January between 3.15pm and 7pm. A choice of online or face to face appointments will be available. Information about booking appointments will be sent out via ParentMail.
January 19

Location: Liverpool City Centre

Year 11 GCSE geography students will visit Liverpool City Centre to complete a fieldwork enquiry for their GCSE studies. Students involved will receive full information from their teacher.
January 22

Location: Andorra

Our annual ski trip for students in year 9. Students who have signed up for the trip will receive full information from their teacher.
January 23

Location: Everyman Theatre, Liverpool

Time: 8.30am-3.30pm

A group of students from year 8 will take part in training to complete the Silver Award in Tackling Racism in Schools. Students involved will receive full information from their teacher.
January 24

Location: Main hall and dining room

Time: 3.30pm-5pm

Year 11 mock interview will take place on Wednesday 24th and Thursday 25th January 2023 from 3.30pm-5pm in the main school hall and dining room. This is an essential aspect to post-16 development. Interviews will be held by a range of professionals. Verbal and written feedback will be provided.
January 25

Time: 3.30pm-5pm

Time: 11.45am-4.30pm

A group of students from year 10 will represent the school in a STEM competition at Cronton College. Students involved will receive full information from their teacher.
January 26

Location: St Helens Town Hall

Time: 9.30am

A group of students from years 7 to 10 will represent the school at the Holocaust Memorial Service at St Helens Town Hall, and will contribute to this important service by reading a poem and making a pledge.
January 29

Location: St Cassian's Centre, Kintbury

Year 10 residential retreat organised by our chaplaincy team. Students involved will have received full information from our Chaplain.
